Developing a successful web site

Developing a successful web site takes more than simply building a web site with an active URL. Instead, it takes a marketing strategy that takes into account every avenue and angle so as to handle everything and make the site as lucrative as possible.

Unfortunately, many web businesses fail because they fail to take into account many of the following topics. If you want your web business to succeed, which I’m sure you do, then consider the following marketing strategy in order to capture more visitors and have a successful online business.

1. Clearly Defined Goals

You must have clear, well defined goals so you know where you want your web site to go. Once you have developed goals, which you can update and change at any time, then you will be able to develop a plan to get you where you want to go.

2. Plan

Once you have developed some goals it is time to work on a step by step plan to help you achieve your goals, even if it is through baby steps. Remember, if you change your goals in any way, you will need to modify your plan. Also, make sure you are up to date on your plan and if what you are doing is not working, you should re-modify your plan again.

3. Design a Web Site or Update Your Current Site

Now you know where you are going and how to get there, a web page should certainly be developed. Of course, if you already have a website, you will need to update it and redesign it so it helps you meet your goals. When designing a website, however, do not assume that a professional knows how to make a website successful for you and your target market. Instead, stay up to date on your market and what appeals to them. This is your business and it is your responsibility to know what is going on.

4. Make the visitor identify with the site

You want to make sure the visitor identifies with your site, and since you will probably be trying to attract as many visitors as possible you will want to have a diverse site that will appeal to the masses not the minority.

5. Search Engine Results

Search engine results are huge for your web page and ultimately your bottom line. So, one of your main goals should be to have your web page returned as a high result, in the first two pages if at all possible. This is achievable through market research, use of a diverse selection of keywords, and constant updating.

6. Design

Now that you have your website and many visitors, you want the design to be conducive to online shopping or whatever the focus of your site is. If it is easy, clear and well laid out you will have a better chance of making the visitor a customer. If the visitor has a hard time navigating, they will leave and go to the next search result. You don’t have much time to impress a visitor, so make it easy to start with.

7. Be Persuasive

Here is another important point for your website. Make sure your copy is persuasive. You can write it or have a professional write it, but if you want someone to buy your products you will need to persuade them as to why. Give them the information in an easy yet persuasive format.

8. Stay Up to Date

Always stay up to date and never let a week pass by that you do not do some market research, check your website in search results standings, or add some new information to your site. The reason for this is you are in competition with thousands of other web sites and always want to be on top with something fresh and new to offer return visitors.

STOP Procrastinating : Be Pro-Active

Everybody procrastinates one day or another. It is part of our human nature. We like to take it easy...If the task is too hard - we procrastinate. But the funny thing is that it is harder on our nerves to not doing the task at hand than doing it. Because once it is done - we feel relieves.

To have success in life we have to overcome this habit. We have to take the "bull by the horn". Some people are master procrastinator. They are really good at this. This stops them achieving things they're capable of and disrupts their life.

Why do we Procrastinate?

Three main reasons:

You don`t like the task at hand; or
You find the task overwhelming
You don`t know what to do

How to beat it ?

1. Just do it. Taking action now will be better. Once the the job is done reward yourself. This will improve your action habit.

2. Break your task in smaller piece. One task at a time. Like an hourglass - Just one grain of sands can pass in the neck at a time.

3. Do your research. Learn as much as you can. This will help you have a clearer picture and motivate you.

To have a good chance of conquering procrastination, you need to spot straight away that you're doing it. Then, you need to identify why you're procrastinating and taken appropriate steps to overcome the block.

Millionaires Minds

Do you think about wealth or the lack of wealth ? This is different my friend. When you think about not having enough money what do you attract ? Not enough money of course !

This is a spiritual law ! It's the law of attraction or sameness or harmony. You cannot have, what you don't think you can have. Like attracts like. Like criminals with criminals and saints with saints.

We join a group because they share the same ideas as ours (the law of sameness). We won't join people who doesn't thing the same as us ! Like attracts like - you get the point ! I'm sure you do now.

We have to replace our old thinking if we want to succeed. Think about success and wealth and not: " Not enough money " or " I cannot succeed " . Replace this with : " I will succeed litlle by little, day by day ".

Our action follows our thinking. If we don't believe we can start a business we won't start a business. Period.

But if we believe we can start a business here is what happen : First our thought will attract information on how to start a business. So we first learn how to start and grow a business.

After that we start taking action like maybe getting a loan, finding a location (if we have a physical business). After that finding good employee, good marketing, good products etc.

We do what we think. Everything we do comes from our thought. Our thought form our belief. We have to believe to succeed. We act from our belief.

It's not diificult to believe in wealth ! Look at all the people who succeed and have succeeded. There are not different from you. There are flesh and bones and not some space alien !

To become wealthy you have to think like them. Learn from them. If they have done it. You can do it too.

You don't need to have come from a rich family or to be a crook to be wealthy. The crook will one day get caught.

Think and act. Act and think. Use your crative thought to create wealth or anything you like in your life. What you like you attract easily. Remember like atract like.
